It was very cold over the weekend. D S

I had my fiddle exam on Friday. It was in Newmarket-on-Fergus. I went to Dublin on Friday and my brother and I went ice skating on Saturday. I got a penguin and a hat.

On Friday I stayed over at David's house. On Saturday Damaris, Tania and I went horse riding in Whitegate. On Saturday I stayed over at Anna's house and I helped them put their tree up. On Sunday we put our Christmas tree up and we went to the car boot sale. J A

On Friday Liam Sweeney came over to our house before cubs and we got our investiture badge. On Saturday morning we got our Christmas tree up in the mountain near my dad's. When we got back we put up the tree. On Sunday I watched the Xfactor final, James Arthur won. L S

On Friday I had a star test in Tao Kwon Do and I passed.. On Saturday morning I had rugby training. Yesterday morning I had a rugby blitz in St Sennan's. I played three matches, we played St Sennan's twice and Newport. I scored three tries against Newport and we won. In the first two matches I played winger and in the third I played ball carrier. A N

My cousins came down yesterday evening. We traded match attacks and played "Who wants to be a millionaire " board game. R H

I went for a walk on Sunday. On Saturday I was at my grandmother's house, we slept over Friday  and Saturday. O B

We lost the first game against two boys from Cork. It was a really big hall. There was a running track, basketball court, two soccer pitches and a badminton court. .

On went to ,my dads house on Saturday and my uncle Bernard came. He lives in Sweden so I could not go to Daniels birthday. It was Lees cousin Kevin's birthday on Sunday. O B

On Saturday I went to a hack with Damaris and Tania. It took two hours and my legs are really sore. J A

On Friday I went to Laoise's. Then on Saturday I stayed the night at Nicola's with Danielle. Then on Sunday Nicola came to my house. A M

On Saturday I went to Liam's birthday party. We went swimming in the pool in Ennis and after that we had a sleep over at Liam's house. It was a very enjoyable day, the next day we went  a scouting country challenge in Sixmilebridge. They were showing lots of different stuff such as how to light a camp fire, how to use a compass, how to make a carrier for a person with a broken leg, how to knot properly and how to make a tent. It was an enjoyable day. A M

Today is Monday. Yesterday the camogie club brought some girls to Clare Leisure World. We played quasar and we also played bowling. Then we went back to the club house and they presented us with U13 medals. It was really fun. N B

I watched "I'm a celebrity please get me out of here". Liverpool and Chelsea drew and Terry had an injury. The team with boxer are winning in "I'm a celebrity get me out of here". L M

On Friday I went to cubs. Then I collected my brother from Portumna at the bus stop because he was in college in Galway. On Saturday my friend Sam came over. We played hurling and FIFA 12 on the xbox. L S

Yesterday I went on a trip with the camogie club to Clare Leisure World. We did bowling and quasar. When we got back to the clubhouse we were presented  with a medal by Susan Fahy because we won the U13s final. C D

I played in two finals, an U12 and U13 and I went go karting with Steven and Eoin and Sam. Steven crashed into the back of me and really hurt my neck. DH

On Monday I went to the cinema with my aunt and cousin. We saw Hotel Transylvania. On Tuesday I went to Cork for my sisters graduation and we came back on Friday..

I got my hair cut on Saturday, the day after we got our Halloween holidays. I went to baby sit my cousins Murien and Caoilinn for the night on the first Sunday of our holidays with my aunt Fiona. S W

I went to Cork and stayed in an apartment. My match attaks were stolen and I went to Oscar's house and I called down to Luke's.

On Thursday I went shopping. My mam got new glasses. I got new shoes and some new clothes. Then my aunt and cousins James and Patrick came over for a while. Last night I watched the Xfactor. Lucy Spraggon dropped out and Kye got voted out of the Xfactor. N B

We are having a dress up party in school. It is to raise money for the school and for Temple St. Children's Hospital.

On Wednesday I cut my lip and now its swollen. We get our Halloween holidays today. Cub scouts investiture is on today which is where we become proper cub scouts. A M

I have horse riding today in Scariff. It's really fun. I started it last week. It is on from 3.30 to 4.30. Yesterday I went to Laoise's birthday party. It was really fun. We played on the computer and the Wii.  We also went outside. N B

On Tuesday gaelic was cancelled because there was a blitz on Monday. We are through to the semi-final. It will be after the mid-term break. On Tuesday I went to Barry 's house and we played on the trampoline.Today is Wednesday and I will have badminton and hurling training tonight. On the weekend we will have a hurling shield semi-final.. I play for Whitegate. LS

This Monday my brother missed the bus to school so I had to make my own lunch because my mam had to bring him to school. A M

On Friday we had an U14 s final. We lost to the Mills but in the last five minutes we were up by seven points. Then they came back. On Saturday we had an U10 blitz and we lost both matches. We played an U13 game yesterday and we lost to Bodyke. L S

I went surfing on Sunday. The instructor said I was 'a natural'. I stood on the board on the first wave and started singing. Also I started shuffling on the board which is really hard to do. All together I counted thirteen waves. O B

The scouts are starting on Friday at the GAA hall and I am going. A M

I went to Thurles on Saturday to see Clare and Kilkenny play. Clare won the U21 All Ireland final. G H

The first one was twenty tunes guaranteed to help you win banjo competitions and the second one was twenty tunes guaranteed to help you get disqualified from banjo competitions. C K

They were very happy and proud to be in the final seen as they were only on the road doing festivals for five years. They were on the road before that but took a break for a while. On yesterday's paper it said that there was a party, and they were outside and a three year old girl was playing with a siberian husky and all of a sudden he turned and attacked her. Luckily the parents were nearby so they managed to pull him away from the little girl. She is in the university hospital and has the worst wounds on the bottom back of her head. Luckily she will survive. C G

On our new house they have put the gutters up. A M

I entered a competition to win a Nintendo 3ds with three games. I will know if I won on Friday. A M

Clare lost to Kilkenny in the semi final of the hurling league on Sunday in Thurles. The score was Kilkenny 1-20, Clare 0-14. J C

Coolderry lost against Loughgiel Shamrocks on Saturday in the Club all Ireland  hurling final. On Saturday we were going to Shragh and we did not know the way so we followed a car in frount of us. Then it stopped at a house so we asked the lady driving where Shragh was and we finally found it. A N

Scariff u13 rugby club beat Newcastlewest 20-7 . It was a fun match except when someone got boxed in the head and I got studs in my leg. P L

On bank holiday Monday I ate a chilli and it was very very very hot. After that my throat was numb. J A

On Sunday I went to a circus. Personally I liked the bare back horse riders and the acrobats, they were the best things I thought. The circus was two and half hours long but you never got bored because it was all different. It was the best circus I've ever been at. It was brilliant. J A

Sliabh Aughty Drama group got first prize in Mountmellick drama festival. For the prize they got a big sculpture made from bog oak. They also won best producer (John Allen) and best actor (Noel Hogan). Well done. S M

I went to the circus in Ennis. My favourite bit was the horses. Tom Duffy junior and his two older brothers were bare back riding, it was fabulous. T A

On Thursday 1st March I went to a fiddle session. On the way out I saw a horse so I left my fiddle case down and went over to pet it. When we were over there my friend Ava said shoo shoo to a dog which I found out had peed on my fiddle case. When I told my mam , she said" That was very silly of you to leave your fiddle down when there are so many dogs around". So when I got home I washed it and everything was fine. C G

Yesterday on the news there was a story about a rock that was found years ago in Dublin and it was thrown in a dump. It was a moon rock that was supposed to be worth five million euro. It is small as a small pebble. Other moon rocks were found in other countries all over the world that are worth more than the one in Ireland. They are very valuable. I hope they find it so they can sell it and get some money for it. S M

In Ennis they were taking apart a stone gable for repairs when they found a wooden house covered in plaster. The house is estimated to be from the 16oo's. E O' M

The play "Thy Will Be Done" by Micael Carey is on the 24th and 25th February in the hall in Mountshannonat at eight thirty. It will be performed by Sliabh Aughty Group. F H

In America and in some parts of Ireland the county council have been doing some fracking. This is where they get a machine and drill down till they reach just before the rock and they pump liquid into the rock and it shatters. Then they get the gas but the problem about this is that it sometimes gets into the water and when you turn on your tap it can give you eczema if you drink it or have a shower or bath they can get it.On tv a man lit the gas as it came out with the water and it turned into water. A lot of people in Ireland don't want this fracking. C G

I was once riding a crazy pony and I fell off and the pony's hoof nearly crushed my face. H N

Last year I was playing in a blitz and in the first match I was going to hook someone and they hit my nail. My nail turned black and it was really sore. My nail came off. L B

When my aunt was four she was playing a game with my uncle who had a pen knife and he chopped off her middle finger. Once my sister was making soup and she blended her finger. It was just cut. LB

I was watching a tv show called "1000 ways to die" and there was this woman who was walking lots of dogs on one leash and the dogs saw a cat and they all ran leaving her trailing behind on her face. She died. L B

When I was in fourth class I was messing with a paint brush and the brush had came out of the handle so the metal part cut my thumb. Now I have a very, very small scar. A N

When I was seven I was on my bike on my way to hurling training, I was on the foot path and I hit my hand off the wall and it almost went right through my finger.

On Friday night I went to the Credit Union Quiz. We came fourth but we managed to be in a tie-breaker for third and fourth place but unfortunately only there was only first, second and third. R H

My mam went away to Athlone to her sisters 30th birthday. They went to a hotel for a night and they had a good time.

On Sunday 5th February Wales and Ireland played in the rugby. Wales won in the end by two points. A M

Luke Oscar and I went to Woodpark. Luke and I were hiding, Luke was at one side of the river and I was at the other side of the river. After that I went back to Lukes and we played on the DS lites, then I went home. L M

On Sunday we watched the Ireland vs Wales rugby match. It was a great game but sadly Ireland were beaten by two points. The final score was 21-23 to Wales. N B

I went to a blitz in Shannon. The teams were Tulla United, Gort and Shannon. I was playing for Mountshannon Celtic.

On Saturday I went to an indoor soccer blitz. For the first and second match I was in goals but on the third match I got a run out on the pitch. B G

Last Wednesday I played a handball tournament in Tulla. I won against  Tulla in the final so now I am representing Clare in the Munster championships. A N

It was my granny and grandads anniversary yesterday. D H

I went to a party in Laois. I am getting an electric guitar. We are still training for cross country.  We went to Limerick.C B

I was playing Minecraft and I found a diamond. It is very rare so I am lucky to find it. I made a diamond pickaxe with it because it is very strong. D V

One of my mum's friends Tania, her son Leon started knitting hats and selling them in Killaloe. He is selling them for €15. F H
