On Wednesday we went to a blitz in Feakle.We were playing against Feakle, Flagmount and Scariff. C A

I am getting two new skylanders this week. I might be going to the Storm cinema this Friday.  My birthday is soon. T B

We are training for the cross country which is in March. The credit union quiz is on Friday night 3rd February. I am on the team. O B

The credit union quiz is on Friday. Oscar and Nicola had a quiz and Oscar made it to the first team.

On Sunday my cousin came over and made a mess. R B

All of the class room did sprinting but second class is left to do it. E K

Last Wednesday we had a blitz. We played Feakle, Flagmount and Scariff. Last week I went to Barry Gleesons party. It was great fun.On Thursday I went to soccer training, Im with the older group this year.       R D

I went to soccer last Saturday in Tulla and I signed up for five blitzes. They take place in St Flannans, Shannon centre and Gort and our home field Tulla.UTD astro turf pitch. They will be on for the next five weeks. A N

I am on the credit union quiz team on Friday night. D O' B

I am in a league with Mountshannon Celtic and we will be playing Newmarket-on fergus Gort, Tulla and Shannon. L S

My dad went to Northampton to see Munster and Northampton play. Munster won. E D

We had our blitz last Wednesday, we played Feakle, Flagmount and Scariff. The credit union quiz will be sometime this month. A C L

On Saturday I went farming. I fed the pigs, the kitten, the dogs and the cows. We are minding a dog. His name is Jack. He can play football. A H

On Saturday Daniel and my cousins came to my house. We played soccor.

I am on the credit union team for Mountshannon. I am sub number two, it will be on Friday. L O' M

On Wednesday January 25th we went to the Leisure world for my birthday. We did quaser, it was fun. On the day of my birthday there was a blitz. We played Feakle, Flagmount and Scariff. B G

On Sunday my annoying brother sat on me. My little brother sat on my head and gave me a headache. My big brother sat on my legs and hurt them. We went to the car boot sale and my brother got three toys.A B

Last Wednesday the girls from fifth class down and boys from fourth class down had a blitz in Feakle hall. We played Scariff, Flagmount and Feakle. The boys lost them all and the girls won against Scariff 12 goals to 3 goals. A M

On Wednesday 25th our auntie had twins. They are both girls and are identical. They are called Katlyn and Alanna. N B

I went to the end of a birthday party Friday night. I hurt my knee and it was sore. We are going to England soon. We are having a surprise party for my grandad. C B

The credit union quiz is on Friday night, 3rd February. I made the team. L O' M

I went to my cousins birthday. We went to the cinema to see puss-in-boots. After the movie we had a cake. We thought the cake was chocolate but it was meringue and it went all crumbly.A M

I went to Barrys and I banged my head in the toilet. D H

On Saturday evening there was a confirmation mass. It was the normal mass but all the people for Confirmation this April went. All we had to do was hand in a certificate. L B

Babies are getting a disease and now people have found out that it was coming from the taps in the hospital. AM

My sister made a big cookie yesterday and it was massive. G H

My dog can sit and give me a high five. G H

On Saturday I made ginger bread men and women. I also went to our confirmation mass. Then yesterday I made a mincemeat cake. I also made twenty four buns, they are really nice ! A N

On Saturday I baked buns. They were yummy. M O' R

On Saturday 28th I baked a carrot cake. As I was grating the carrots for the cake  I grated my finger as well by accident. It was very sore. After the cake was done I iced and decorated it. The carrot cake was absolutely delicious. C G

Wednesday January 25th 2012

I was playing Halo when the phone rang.I got up and ran into the table. Last night my knee was sore. PL

This morning the sky was pink, blue, white and grey. It was extraordinary. SW

This morning when I was going to school I looked at the grass and there were hoof marks all over the lawn. The lawn is ruined. MO'R

Last night I was on the way to bed and I was walking into my bedroom. I hit my foot against the staircase and I cut my small toe. It is a very deep cut and I cannot walk or wear shoes on it because it hurts really badly. AN

On Saturday I went horse riding in West Clare. D S

On Friday I did a dualogue and I got highly recommended. It was on in St Marys hall. M O' R

I took part in Feile on January 19th with my poem and I came in third place. I got a certificate for my dualogue. F H

Last Friday I was at a feile for Speech and Drama. I got 85 marks for my poem, and I got 86 out 100 for my Drama. At the end the adjudicator said that some people were well suited for the stage, then when I got my report that comment was made at the end. A N

In Feile Speech and Drama competition I got 88 out of 100 for my drama. I got highly commended and got a certificate. I got a report as well along with everyone else. C G

On Sunday I went to Killaloe for dinner. C D

My dad got a new landrover jeep. E O' M

Next month I will be taking part in a Speech and Drama feile. I will be doing a solo drama. L B

There was a hunt on Sunday last and they passed my house. A M

In Feile I got highly commended in my duologue and I got a cert. G H

On my way to Limerick last Saturday my little sister got sick all over me. T A

Tuesday 24th January 2012

A donkey got loose during the hunt. Also Scariff u13 rugby team beat St Marys 42-0 last Sunday. One of their team players made thirteen high tackles in a row. P L

When I went walking on Sunday I saw a red squirrel and some deer. F H

Petrol and diesel prices are going up because Ireland made an agreement not to buy oil from Iran. A M

There is a bird called tree sparrow. Its population is going up in Ireland and going down in other places. A M

My sister found a deer skull with antlers still on it in a forestry near my dad's house. She also found its ribs.      E O' M

I am going to the new sweet shop that is opening today. C D

It was snowing in the Sahara desert. M O' R

I came third place in my poem yesterday in Limerick in St. Marys hall. F H

Hunters shoot deer near my house so my dogs came back from walks with various parts of deer. H N

Yesterday we installed baskets for under our desks. In one way they are good because they keep our desks clean but bare. They are also very awkward. L B

Wednesday 18th January 2012

Today when I woke up I heard something against the window and saw a bird. He went into the bathroom and then he flew out and then I had to catch him and put him out the window. G H

In my new house they have started to build a roof. A M

My uncle lives in China. The government in China block facebook and youtube so nobody in China can go on those websites because the government is scared that people will write bad things about them. E O' M

Wikipedia is globally shut down in protest. They are protesting against S.O.P.A. and P.I.P.A.. They are re-opening tomorrow at 5am. H N

The panda in Edinburg was sick but he is better now. T A

My mums boyfriend found an old coin from 1864 with Queen Victoria on one side and Britannia on the other side. T A

The captain of the ship that tipped over in Italy has been questioned about the accident. He has been under house arrest also. A N

I have started learning about html and css. It is coding for website design. OK

On Saturday I went to the cinema and saw Alvin and the Chipmunks, it was excellent.We walked past a hairdressers and there were ambulances because a woman had had a heart attack. L B

Yesterday my dog went out the door and ran on the road chasing a bird and there was a traffic jam, but I caught him. G H

A cruise ship sank off the coast of Italy killing six people so far. C K

Scariff under 13 rugby team  drew with Kilrush. P L

Yesterday I cooked dinner for my mom, my sister and my moms boyfriend. I cooked tomato soup and rolls and fajitas and a big chocolate cake. It was really nice. S W

Yesterday on the voice of Ireland there was this guy from Limerick who got all four judges to turn around. I was at a panto and he was in it. M O' R

On Saturday 14th January 2012 I went riding.As we were going around my trainer sometimes finds stones in the arena and throws them out. As she was throwing two out my pony threw up his head when she threw out the first one. When she threw out the second one he bolted for about two steps and then threw down his head. I fell off and landed on my two feet. My trainer said that it was very graceful. C G

I went to the Mountshannon playground. It was such fun, my favourite thing was the climbing frame. A M

My Uncle Noel is half Viking because the Irish name for Broderick is Brudar and Brudar was the Viking who killed the High King of Ireland, Brian Boru on 23^rd April, 1014 in Clontarf. F.H.

The Northern lights can be visible in the northern sky 'till March. Last night I saw them faintly. E.O’M.

I got a new phone yesterday. It was black, small and light. I really like it. A.M.

Thursday 12th January 2012

Diesel is getting dearer than petrol because diesel is getting scarce. A.M.

I started badminton yesterday, it’s on from 6.30pm 0 7.30pm in the Mountshannon hall. MO’R.

Today when I went to feed my chickens one of them flew into the wall He is still alright. D.S.

They say the 13^th January is a day of bad luck! So the 3^rd of January was bad luck for me, first I opened a cupboard and a glass fell out, then my brother opened it and a plate fell out. A.N.

On Saturday 7^th January 2012 on top of our normal horse-riding session we had a vaulting session. It is when you do gymnastics on a very large horse. We did it because there is a vaulting competition coming up and there is also a inter-dressage coming up as well in February. C.G.

Scariff U13 R.F.C lost to Presentation Limerick 10-19. It was in the league, I was playing front row prop tight head and came off after the first half. P.L.

The Voice of Ireland started on RTE on Sunday. There are four judges, Kian, Sharon, Bressie and Brian. The auditions were blind. M.O'R.

Monday 9th January 2012

In the harbour the water is covering 3 of the piers. It is so cool. I saw that the 4^th pier is almost covered. This happened because so much rain has fallen recently. A.M.

My Dog Skyler has gone missing. We have been looking for him but we can't find him. He is a black Labrador, full breed. He is 3 years old and he is wearing no collar because it broke off. A.M.

In November I did an interdressage test, I came in 8^th place and I got a ribbon. The pony I rode in the test was called Woody. I got a certificate and my test results as well as everyone else. C.G.

My facebook got hacked and they sent my friends bad messages about me. P.L.

Some people from Whitegate and Mountshannon went on the wren on the 26^th December. We went to 14 different pubs. F.H.

I got a Jedward ticket, my sister, my Mum, my friend & my friend's Mum are going in the mid term. I can's wait! S.W.

I went to Cork and went skating, I was the best skater there. I stayed for three & a half hours, it was really fun. D.V.

About a week & a half ago my dog got an infection in his eyes. The Vet said it was from  running into bushes. He is better now. A.N.
