Wednesday October 24th 2012

I have horse riding today in Scariff. It's really fun. I started it last week. It is on from 3.30 to 4.30. Yesterday I went to Laoise's birthday party. It was really fun. We played on the computer and the Wii.  We also went outside. N B

Halloween is in seven days and I am excited. G H

On Tuesday gaelic was cancelled because there was a blitz on Monday. We are through to the semi-final. It will be after the mid-term break. On Tuesday I went to Barry 's house and we played on the trampoline.Today is Wednesday and I will have badminton and hurling training tonight. On the weekend we will have a hurling shield semi-final.. I play for Whitegate. LS

This Monday my brother missed the bus to school so I had to make my own lunch because my mam had to bring him to school. A M

The TVs without saorview will turn off today. I have badminton tonight at the Mountshannon hall. It's on between 7-8pm. I have fiddle tonight with Denise. S W

Today my mam's friend Timmy is going home. On Monday we had ribs for dinner and they were very nice. They still had the crakling on them. J A

My mum's friend Timmy is staying until Wednesday. We went to Dublin on Saturday and Tania went on Friday with David and Áine. J A

I went to the playground and around the harbour with my sister Emma, my cousin Jack and my aunt Aisling on Sunday. My mam painted the kitchen on Saturday. She painted it magnolia. I stayed at my dad's house on Saturday. My sister, Gemma and Andrew stayed as well.S W

I started handball Friday from 4 to 6pm. Jimmy Walsh is teaching me. G H

I was sick on Saturday night but I'm better now. A M

On Saturday I went to rugby training. Yesterday we were supposed to play the East Clare Eagles but they never showed up. I was going to play scrum half. A N

I went to the U15 hurling match. It was a final and they won by 11 points. I hit my head off a pole there. D H

On Friday I had a cubs meeting. On Saturday I went to Peadar's party. We watched The Three Stooges, it was funny. After we had Supermac's then cake and sweets. On Sunday the U15's final was on. They won , my brother was playing. L S

Last night we had a party in our club house in Tulla and received our medals. The chairman and some other person presented them. We will be training for the rest of the winter. I have handball training tonight. A N

Monday October 15th 2012

On Friday I got my hair cut in Tulla. On Saturday my granny had eight people for dinner then on Saturday night all my mam's relatives had a surprise 80th birthday party for my mam's uncle in Ballinakill. My little cousin also came down, she is six. A M

On Wednesday of last week I got my tonsils out. I'm only back at school today. J A

We had a camogie match on Saturday. We lost against  Tulla-Bodyke. G H

Yesterday I cut my finger with a knife. I was cutting something and it slipped and it cut my finger. A M

On Saturday I got gum shields for rugby, then yesterday I had a rugby match and I played scrum half. I played the full match. It was in Limerick. Ireland lost 6-1 to Germany on Friday. A N

On Saturday I went to Limerick. I got new shoes. On Sunday morning we went to the Burren to climb Mullaghmore. On the top of the mountain we could see Fr Ted's house. L S

One of my mum's friend's dad came over from Spain for his mom's and dad's diamond anniversary. They came to visit my mum and they said the food was delicious. I wish I was there. E K

They found a female black swan and a signet black swan with rope taped around the neck and they were dead in Limerick. S W

Today is Monday and my uncle's girlfriend had a baby boy on Friday. His name is Patrick. N B

Mark Bridger was arrested on suspicion of the abduction and homicide of a five year old girl April Jones.My aunt was on the news on Thursday. Our TV blew up on Saturday. Caroline was the first one to be voted off the X factor 2012. C K

Tomorrow I am starting back at accordion lessons with Seamus Bugler. This is my second year playing the instrument. C D

The Mountshannon cub scouts climbed Mullaghmore which is a mountain in the Burren and when we reached the top we could see Fr Teds house from the TV series Fr Ted. It was a very enjoyable day. A M

I went on an 8k walk around Whitegate and Stephen, his mam and myself started to jog from Mary's shop and we jogged most of the way and I got something to eat in the Half Barrell. D H

On Saturday my mum, Chantel and I went to Dublin. My granny found a note book from at least 100 years ago. On Sunday it was my cousin's birthday. On Tuesday after school my mum and I are going to Cork for two days to get my tonsils out and we are staying at my mom's aunt's house. J A

On Saturday I stayed the night at Sam's. On Sunday Steven, Eoin and Peader came. We watched the match. Kilkenny trashed Galway and I was supporting Galway. L S
